MYLIFESTYLE – Sambal Seruit Indonesia semakin memperkokoh posisinya sebagai salah satu duta kuliner nusantara dengan meresmikan cabang ketiga di Jalan Lapangan Bola, Jakarta Barat. Namun, lebih dari sekadar memperkenalkan cita rasa khas Lampung, restoran ini juga membawa misi mulia: memberdayakan ekonomi lokal dan mengubah stigma terhadap masyarakat Lampung.

Gianto, founder Sambal Seruit Indonesia, menegaskan bahwa 90 persen dari tenaga kerja di restoran mereka berasal dari Lampung. “Kami ingin memberdayakan masyarakat Lampung dan mengubah stigma negatif terhadap daerah ini,” ujar Gianto saat acara peresmian cabang ketiga, Sabtu 22 Juni 2024.

Sambal seruit, menu andalan yang terdiri dari ikan goreng atau bakar yang dicampur dengan sambal rampai, menjadi ikon kuliner yang diusung oleh restoran ini. Namun, di balik kelezatan sambal seruit, terdapat komitmen kuat terhadap petani lokal di Lampung. Rampai, bahan utama pembuatan sambal seruit, diambil langsung dari petani lokal, memastikan tidak hanya keaslian rasa tetapi juga meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani.

“Kami berkomitmen dengan petani lokal karena rampai ini aslinya dari Lampung. Kami tidak akan berhenti sampai di sini. Kami akan terus mengampanyekan ke berbagai kota lain di Indonesia,” tegas Gianto.

Pembukaan cabang ketiga ini juga dihadiri oleh Faiz MCI 7, yang memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap inisiatif ini. “Sumatra itu punya kuliner yang tak kalah dari wilayah lain. Dengan hadirnya Sambal Seruit Indonesia, ini bisa menjadi bukti kalau kuliner Lampung juga enak,” kata Faiz.

Keberadaan Sambal Seruit Indonesia tidak hanya menjadi representasi kuliner Lampung tetapi juga sebagai wadah pemberdayaan ekonomi bagi masyarakat Lampung. Gianto memiliki visi jangka panjang untuk terus memperluas jangkauan restoran ini ke berbagai kota lain di Indonesia.

“Kami terus mengeksplor dan bekerjasama dengan influencer mengampanyekan ke masyarakat luas ada sambal seruit asal Lampung yang layak dinikmati oleh semua kalangan dan pencinta kuliner,” tutupnya.

Dengan strategi yang menggabungkan cita rasa otentik dan pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal, Sambal Seruit Indonesia berupaya menjadikan kuliner khas Lampung sebagai duta yang mengubah paradigma masyarakat tentang daerah tersebut.
