JAKARTA, MYLIFESTYLE – Yayasan Anugerah Musik Indonesia (YAMI) baru-baru ini menjalin kerjasama dengan Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Ketenagakerjaan dan Federasi Serikat Musisi Indonesia (FESMI) untuk menghadirkan program AMI Peduli.
Program AMI Peduli ini adalah inisiatif luar biasa yang bertujuan memberikan perlindungan diri kepada para musisi tradisional yang telah lama berkontribusi dalam melestarikan kebudayaan nasional.
Inisiatif ini mendapatkan dukungan penuh dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek). Direktur Perfilman, Musik, dan Media Kemendikbudristek, Ahmad Mahendra, menjelaskan bahwa musisi tradisional adalah elemen penting dalam pemajuan kebudayaan. Melalui karya-karya mereka, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal terus dijaga.
“Memberikan perlindungan diri kepada musisi tradisional melalui asuransi adalah langkah inovatif dalam industri musik. Ini akan memberikan mereka rasa aman dan ketenangan saat berkarya, yang pada gilirannya akan mendukung pemajuan kebudayaan,” ujar Mahendra, saat jumpa pers di Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, Senin (6/11/2023).
YAMI mengajak para musisi tradisional untuk mendaftar sebagai peserta BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dan mendapatkan perlindungan diri dalam bekerja. Asuransi ini akan diberikan melalui skema kerja sama antara YAMI, FESMI, dan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
Candra Darusman, Ketua Umum YAMI, menjelaskan bahwa program AMI Peduli bertujuan memberikan penghargaan istimewa kepada musisi tradisional yang telah berperan besar dalam membangun dan melestarikan kebudayaan nasional, serta mendukung industri musik.
“Perlu menjaga karier para musisi tradisional agar mereka merasa aman, karena hal ini akan memastikan mereka terus menginspirasi tentang kekayaan kebudayaan nasional,” kata Candra.
Program AMI Peduli memberikan dua bentuk perlindungan, yakni Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK) dan Jaminan Kematian (JKM). Yovie Widianto dari FESMI sangat menyambut baik program ini, dan dia berharap masa depan musisi, khususnya musisi tradisional, akan semakin diperhatikan.
Inisiatif AMI Peduli ini bukan hanya sebuah langkah maju dalam industri musik, tetapi juga langkah positif dalam melestarikan kebudayaan nasional dan memberikan rasa aman bagi para musisi tradisional yang telah memberikan kontribusi besar selama ini. red
