JAKARTA, MYLIFESTYLE – Teater Sastra Universitas Indonesia (UI) menggelar pagelaran dramatik berjudul ‘Komedi Lurah Koplak: Lingsir, Lungsur, Longsor’ di Auditorium Gd. IX FIB UI, Kampus UI, Depok, Kamis malam, 14 Desember 2023, dalam rangka merayakan ulangtahun ke-39.

Di dalam drama ini, Teater Sastra UI menghadirkan gambaran menyentuh tentang kondisi demokrasi Indonesia yang masih diwarnai oleh KKN dan ancaman politik dinasti. Melalui pembawaan komedi, pagelaran ini menyoroti berbagai praktik penyimpangan yang dianggap wajar dalam masyarakat.

Bersetting di desa Watu Koplak, cerita ini mengisahkan tentang seorang Lurah desa yang berupaya memastikan kelanjutan program kerjanya dengan cara-cara yang kontroversial, termasuk menggunakan politik uang.

Dalam produksi yang ke-399, Teater Sastra UI juga mengkritisi praktik sang Lurah yang menutupi kasus-kasus korupsi dan kolusi, sambil menjalin kerjasama dengan kelompok pengusaha lokal.

Sang Lurah, sebagai personifikasi pemimpin yang menghalalkan segala cara, memilih sang Sekdes yang uzur dan sakit sebagai penerusnya. Namun, syaratnya adalah sang Sekdes harus mengangkat anak Lurah yang baru tamat SMA sebagai Sekdes berikutnya. Aturan diubah demi melanggengkan kekuasaan, menggambarkan kondisi demokrasi yang terdistorsi.

Yudhi Soenarto, sutradara pagelaran, menyatakan bahwa pesan yang ingin disampaikan adalah tentang masalah dalam penyelenggaraan demokrasi di Indonesia yang masih ‘berbayar’. Ia menegaskan bahwa demokrasi seharusnya bukan sekadar pertukaran uang, melainkan wadah bagi aspirasi rakyat.

Pagelaran ini juga mengangkat isu penting terkait dengan budaya politik di Indonesia. Soenarto berharap bahwa dramanya dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada publik bahwa demokrasi sejati tidak melibatkan transaksi uang.

“Walau memang tak mudah mengubah budaya yang telah berlangsung puluhan tahun, setidaknya dapat menjadi awal perubahan. Bagi yang masih melakukan praktik ‘berbayar’, ambil uangnya, tapi pilih sesuai hati nurani,” ujar Soenarto.

Teater Sastra UI ini, sebagai kelompok teater berbasis kampus, berkomitmen untuk terus memproduksi pertunjukan teater aktual, kritis, dan berkelas.
